Jacobs Scott selects only those assignments it can fulfill to preserve the firm’s integrity as well as the candidate’s and client’s confidentiality.

Search is undertaken on an exclusive basis and the number of clients in any particular field of activity is limited to prevent conflict of interests.

The successful candidate is never approached for other employment opportunities whilst remaining in the client’s employ. Likewise, no other member of the client’s staff is contacted from assignment inception. Jacobs Scott prescribes to the Code of Ethics of the AESC, The Association of Executive Search Consultants.

Jacobs Scott Ltd. upholds the privacy principles contained in Canada’s Protection of Personal Information and Electronics Act so as to ensure the security of the personal and confidential information provided and submitted to us. Jacobs Scott Ltd. retains submitted and forwarded personal information for the purposes of executive search and recruitment. Jacobs Scott Ltd. will retain your submitted resume for a limited period of two years from the time of its receipt, after which time it will be automatically erased and destroyed from our confidential files and electronic database. Should an opportunity present itself to disclose and/or present personal information about you to one of our clients, Jacobs Scott Ltd. will only do so with your express permission to do so. Our policy is to protect personal information and to limit its unauthorized disclosure.
